I attended Spring Grove Grammar Scchool in the 1950s until 1964 as did my sister. Our mother also went to school there before WW2. The building had excellent grounds, a very spacious conservatory and other Victorian features including coal fires. It is a mile or two from Heston where Sir Joseph Banks is buried. I lived in Hounslow at the time and occasionally spent time on Hounslow Heath where Sir Joseph collection specimens.
